Nonprofit town halls set for March, April

The national organization that represents state nonprofit associations is sponsoring a series of Town Hall meetings across the U.S. this month and next.

The National Council of Nonprofit Associations is seeking input from nonprofit and community leaders to inform the upcoming national meeting of the Nonprofit Congress, set for June 1-4 in Washington, D.C.

The Town Hall meetings, organized with the help of state coordinators in 36 states and Washington, D.C., will give attendees the opportunity to identify challenges facing their organizations and communities.

The meetings also will highlight programs and activities launched in response to the three priorities outlined during the first Nonprofit Congress -- public awareness and support for the nonprofit sector, advocacy and grassroots organizing and organizational effectiveness.

For information on specific Town Hall meetings, contact state coordinators.
